This holds true in good relationships. Love can influence one to brave through things. It gives people the strength to face hardships. I'm reminded of episode twenty in the first season when Tai willed himself to go through the electric fence to rescue Sora in the pyramid where she was held hostage by Datamon. Sora brought out his inner potential.
